Dana's Fibromyalgia Story
My fibromyalgia history and diagnosis
Believe it or not, my fibromyalgia diagnosis was greatly helped by my good friend. Since we talk on the phone all of the time, telling her my symptoms got her talking about her aunt who had fibromyalgia. It was her aunt who helped me out by first by recommending me to go see her doctor, and telling me to read the book "what your doctor may not tell you about fibromyalgia." She also taught me some stress relieving techniques.
My fibromyalgia symptoms
Irritable bowel syndrome, pain, bladder infections, poor sleep, and fatigue.
My fibromyalgia dos and don'ts
Do read the book "What your doctor may not tell you about fibromyalgia" by R. Paul St. Amand. Do take 600 mg of guaifenesin twice a day. Do stay away from salycites and be diligent about it. Learn some stress relieving techniques so that your symptoms do not flare up. That's all you need to know.
